Pocket closed in July 2025. Your list does not have to.
Download your export from Pocket, upload it to Sroka, and your saved pages, tags and archive come across. Pages are fetched again in the background, so articles that Pocket kept for you can be rescued while they are still online.
Sroka reads Pocket’s CSV, ZIP and HTML exports, Instapaper CSV files and browser bookmark files. It does not need your Pocket password, and you can export everything again whenever you like.
Made for reading, not for collecting.
- Save from your browser
- A toolbar button, a right-click menu and Alt+Shift+S. Paste a link in the app, or share one from your phone.
- Read offline
- Every saved article is cleaned up and stored with its images, so it opens on a plane and looks the same every time.
- Tags, search and a short list
- Tag as you save, search titles and text, and archive what you have finished. My List stays as short as you keep it.
- Light, dark and sepia
- Pick a typeface, size and line width. Sroka remembers where you stopped and takes you back to the paragraph.
- Import and export
- Bring a Pocket library in, take a CSV or JSON copy out. Your reading list is yours.
- Open source
- The code is public. Read it, run your own, or send a fix.
